A while back, I read the book “Needful Things” by Stephen King.
The story line was about a man who had moved into a small town and putting it lightly, shook things up.
In this town, the people got along alright. Nothing out of the ordinary. But then he came along and everything changed.
He opened up a store with items of interest to ignite enthusiasm for the residents to come and shop. However, earning a profit wasn’t his main concern.
His purpose – his real purpose was to invoke chaos.
He wouldn’t charge for his items. As his customers would express their desire to own a particular piece, he would offer it to them in exchange for a deed. The deeds were designed to turn the residents against one another. It worked and in the end, this led to hate, violence, murder and overall destruction.
His actions were well planned, calculating and organized.
“You may have this object you desire at a price you can afford. Just do this one little favor for me (right after I use some mind-control on you to turn you against your neighbor) and you can have what you want.”
Now as I said, it’s been years since I’ve read this novel. But with everything going on, especially since the election, what I had filed away as an interesting read came rushing back at me as a perfect example of what I’d call truth in fiction.
Why We Fight
Over the years, I have observed what I can only deem as an intentional divide and conquer strategy in place.
It knows no boundaries. It’s all-encompassing and it affects most, if not all aspects of our lives.
And with regard to these elections, it seems to me that while we think we’re “electing” someone to take charge and direct humanity toward a cohesive system of organization and survival, there is something far more sinister going on that I feel we’d be wise to observe.
It’s time we recognize what’s going on. To continue to believe the same nonsense we’ve been fed over time is doing more harm that anyone can imagine.
We have been led by people who have implemented deliberate mind-control on us. One of the many ways this is done is through politics.
Our current political system is a divide and conquer strategy. And while people fight over which master they feel is best to “lead” them, unfortunately when we disagree on all of this, we learn to hate and resent one another.
Here’s the thing, folks.
NO ONE will agree about everything. So keeping this in mind, I have to ask:
Do you want someone dictating how YOU should live?
Probably not. So why is this ok?
We call this democracy when in reality, what we’re doing is collectively deciding, based off our own personal desires and beliefs, how everyone should live.
Now I personally don’t care what any of you believe in. As far as I’m concerned, live your life as you see fit. I have no interest in selecting a master to rule over you and control your actions – and I certainly don’t want any of you controlling mine.
This is not only a misuse of the imagination, but it’s just plain wrong.
It’s real simple guys.
Do no harm (but take no shit).
We Need to Quit Squabbling (and grow the f*ck up)
It’s quite a world we’re living in, isn’t it?
I sometimes sit back, take it all in and just marvel at how amazingly…
insane we all are.
I mean, think about it.
When aren’t we humans somehow, and in some way violating one another’s right to live in peace?
It’s bad enough that we’re dealing with bankers who rob the public blind while politicians and so-called “world leaders” drive the Earth’s population into more wars and killing sprees just because they think it’s ok to control others for their own selfish gains.
And if that isn’t enough, once a person wakes up, and I mean really wakes up to the reality of the situation Humanity is facing, they realize that life as we’ve always known it was based on One. Big. LIE.
Now before you decide to click the little x on the top right corner of this tab because the chick writing the words you’re currently reading is being all doom and gloom – just hang on for a minute because I’m about to dispense some valuable insight that will actually offer a solution to the plethora of problems we’re facing these days.
But before I get into that, let me ask you a question.
Are You Awake?
What I am asking is are you aware, I mean, truly aware of how we have gotten to this point in the course of our existence?
~ Do you know who runs the world?
~ Have you recognized that you’ve been programmed yet?
~ Have you taken the opportunity to face your own shadow(s) to become acquainted with the part of you that runs your life without you knowing it?
~ Have you suspended your belief in your beliefs and questioned what you think you know?
~ Have you become comfortable with being wrong?
~ Have you looked up while outside and wondered why planes are spraying chemical clouds in our otherwise beautiful skies?
~ Have you asked yourself why we need to go through hoops to find out what’s in our food? And why on Earth would we feel the need to charge more for unpoisoning the food to begin with by labeling things as “organic” when this is how it should be in the first place?
And the list could go on.
Because if you haven’t, now is a good time to get started.
But I’m not getting into all of that right now.
Today, I just want to discuss how we’re going to handle the situation we’re in because if I’m gonna be honest, and I am, then I have to say that I think a lot of us have a bit of growing up to do.
See, it’s bad enough that we’re at each other’s throats. It’s also quite a buzz kill to see that the world currently is and has been run by psychopaths who don’t care anything about me, you, your loved ones, or anyone else except for themselves – and never will.
It’s also upsetting to see that because of all of this, we humans are operating from such a position of lack that our need for survival has become so all-encompassing, so dominant that we’re willing to hurt one another even when we don’t want to because some dude named Darwin said something about how only the fittest survive – and this somehow translates into “step on thy neighbor/ friend/ loved one/ pet/ etc” whether it’s to eat, get ahead in life – or to keep up with them Joneses.
Now realizing that this is how we govern ourselves before we wake up, one would figure that once it has been recognized that in order to triumph over the circumstances that plague our collective psyche, and therefore, our lives in general – we would need to learn to work together.
To stop the pettiness, to realize that we’ve got something of an “us vs. them (we the people vs. the control system)” kind of thing going on and that there is more strength in numbers than there is alone.
You’d figure we humans would band together and actually try to get along – as if our lives depended on it.
Because it does.
But here, we’re still acting like a bunch of spoiled, pissy little children.
Do we not remember the fate of Veruca because of her little tantrums?
It’s time to grow up.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall
Once we realize what we’re truly facing, which is the fact that Humanity is being led in a direction that is designed to create hell on Earth and is being implemented in more ways than most people recognize, one common question arises.
That question is…
“What do we do now?”
And here’s the thing – I don’t have that answer.
Not in its entirety anyway.
How can I?
I’m one person. This doesn’t mean I’m weak. It just means that I alone didn’t create the problems, so how can I alone solve them?
I offer a perspective – based on my level of awareness of the problems along with my interpretation of the information I have received throughout my lifetime.
I can offer solutions – but not THE solution.
For the latter, we need to work together.
We need for Humanity to be brave enough to not only face the issues that are so blatantly right in front of us, but to be willing to be adult about it once we have finally woken up to them.
Waking up comes in layers. It doesn’t only have to do with awareness of the environment. It’s about awakening to ourselves.
It involves recognizing the difference between our true selves (the observer of us) and our egos – and deciding deliberately which one is meant to be in charge of dictating the direction of our actions.
It means having the benefit of the ALL at heart, and realizing that fighting against one another over wanting the same thing (and believe it or not, most of us DO want the same thing underneath it all) is kind of ridiculous.
Growing up means assuming personal responsibility for ourselves and using our emotions properly in an effort to allow maturity to be the force that motivates our actions.
This is what it means to be wise.
Our problems stem from nescience, ignorance, and immaturity. The solutions to such problems are awareness, willingness, and maturity.
And if enough of us can do this without being the ONE with all of the answers, or attacking one another for having a perspective that may not jive with us, then perhaps we can begin having rational discussions of what can be done to reach a place where we all work together to discover solutions based on a true awareness of the problems we face in their entirety.
The time is now.
For those of you who have yet to hold your head up and see reality for what it is, you owe it to yourselves, your kids and their children to face the truth.
Your lives, their lives – everyone’s lives depends on it. And nope, I’m not exaggerating. It’s that serious.
And for those who DO know what’s up…then please, for the love of God – quit squabbling with one another.
NO ONE will have THE answer, but together, we will be able to raise topics that will enable adult discussions about how to deal with our reality in a manner that will allow for creativity, an abundance of perspectives and a sense of camaraderie that is required to create the numbers we so desperately need.
So Where Do I Fit In?
I want to mention that I’m not sitting here, writing these words with some holier than thou position.
I too need to grow up.
The interesting thing about becoming self-aware and facing your shadows is that you also get to see your own crap, if you are willing to.
And as painful as it has been, I have been willing to see mine.
I recognize the Veruca within me.
I see how my fear of not getting approval has manipulated my own behavior and caused me to deny myself the free speech that everyone is deserving of.
It’s amazing how easy it is to get angry with those who control things when we don’t see how we use this same level of control against ourselves.
So when I say we all need to grow up, this includes me as well.
I am not your guru.
I am not some wannabe leader in search of a fan club.
I have no interest in being a public figure or being some kind of hero.
I am simply someone who sees things because I have the willingness to do so – and that willingness, while having brought a whole lot of pain with it, has led me to develop a level of clarity that I still do not see enough of in the masses.
Not yet anyway.
But the good news is that I do feel we’re getting closer.
None the less, it will still start with each and every one of us as individuals.
When we see that the evil we’re up against also exists within us, and we become brave enough to deal with these shadow figures that lurk beneath the surface of what we think is our true nature, we’ll realize that this is not only a battle we’re facing in the external environment, but the internal one as well.
And then a real movement toward self-ownership – aka adulthood – will be a possibility.
This is what it will take to see things shift.
We would be wise to recognize there’s a presence, just like Mr. Gaunt from Needful Things, encouraging us to hate one another. The objects of interest being offered are money, success, material things, fame, security, safety and anything else that promises us self-importance and an inflated ego.
The price we pay is with our souls.
Don’t sell yours.
When you are no longer wearing this body of yours, confusing yourself with your personality, you will see things clearly. But the good news is, you can die while you’re still alive by remembering you are not your beliefs, opinions, emotions, titles or definitions of yourself.
It may take a generation, or two – quite possibly more before we get to experience the effects of the cause we put into play starting now – but what’s the alternative?
Something to think about.
“If we would bring about a sane and happy society we must begin with ourselves and not with another, not outside of ourselves, but with ourselves.”
~ J. Krishnamurti (as said in Living in an Insane World)
